If you obtained these for Spanish 1, you have all you need (Lessons 14-26):

TWO Required text(s):

Destinos: An introduction to Spanish Textbook ISBN 10: 0070020698 / ISBN 13: 9780070020696, 1992, 2nd Edition is often under $50 and highly recommended to purchase (it is rather image heavy to print). (Spanish 1-4)

Destinos: Workbook/Study Guide I. Lessons 1-26 (Spanish 1 [1-13] & Spanish 2 [Lessons 14-26]) ISBN-10 0070672598  ISBN-13 978-0070672598

Both books can also be printed if you search online at¬† ‚Äú‚ÄĚ Textbook, audios, videos, and workbook are available for free online but will require extensive printing. I highly recommend either printing Chapters 1-13 of¬† textbook, workbook, self-tests (at end of workbook pdfs) and answer keys– before classes begin or purchase them online.¬†

I have found one of the best sources to buy physical books.  Once you obtain these for Spanish 1 you will already have Spanish 2 materials on hand.

Summary: High School Spanish 2 is a full immersion study of Spanish using the engaging Destinos telenovela video series previously purchased for Spanish 1, textbook, audio and workbook to develop basic reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. You will develop basic conversational skill in vocabulary and grammar in the past tense verbs (preterite-once and imperfect-repeating), as well as describing what you are/were doing.

The class requires completion of:

*weekly workbook, textbook and self tests being self-graded and uploaded as text in the Edmodo app or as a jpg. Documents such as Word/Apple equivalent are too heavy.

*There are also online quizzes, a midterm, and a final to complete.

*Online vocabulary and conjugation practice

*Watching 30 minute video episodes every other week

**Prerequisite: Lecciones 1-13 of Destinos Textbook and Workbook, or other rigorous Spanish 1 instruction. Before taking Spanish 2, students should be able to study 30-60 minutes/day on a single topic (normally 1-3 hours per week outside of class), check own work in red/green or highlighter, answer questions verbally, type answers (with corrections in parenthesis) or upload .jpg images of completed and graded work weekly, and follow instructions.

Destinos: An Introduction to Spanish Spanish 2 teaches AP level Spanish so that your student may test out of Spanish 2 requirements for High School and/or University Foreign Language Year 1 requirements. Students will learn to read, write, speak, and listen to native Spanish speakers to develop basic Spanish communication skills.

Only enrolled students can view materials.
