Summary: We will begin with the true definition of sainthood in the Orthodox Church, along with the research and understanding of relics and why they are important to the Church.  The Angelic creation and those angels who are saints, along with those who are fallen, is one of the most popular topics according to students.  The lives of the Righteous Ancestors of Christ, the Prophets, Apostles, Evangelists, Martyrs, and saints who are men, women, children, and from all continents and cultures of the Church are presented, including saints whose feast days we celebrate during the school year.

All materials for this class are provided by the instructor, and there is no text to purchase.  The class experience includes discussions and short videos on all of the topics.  The coursework includes a short midterm paper and a final exam.  There are also open-book quizzes throughout each term.

Only enrolled students can view materials.
